What is UCAS clearing and when does clearing start?
UCAS Clearing is part of the UCAS university application system in the UK. It is open to students who do not hold an offer, or who haven’t met the conditions of their university offer. Universities with spaces on courses advertise these through Clearing.
UCAS Clearing 2020 opens at the beginning of July. You can use UCAS Clearing if you want to apply to university after 30th June. This can also be used if you have applied through UCAS and haven’t received any offers. Or if you have received your exam results and haven’t quite met the conditions of your UCAS offer.
