France has 77 public funded universities that are all funded by the national government offering excellent education, with France university fees being low. Many of these universities are now offering the opportunity to study in English. French is widely used on a day-to-day basis, especially when shopping for groceries or administrative purposes. Study cost - France university fees

As of September 2019, international students will have to pay higher tuition fees at French public universities. However, france university fees still remain low. If you are a European citizen, fees will be less than £1,000 a year. For international students fees are around £3,000 but only £350 for a PhD.

The cost of living largely depends on where you study and the type of accommodation you choose. Student life can be inexpensive - even in large cities, you could get by on £800 per month including accommodation. The exception would be in Paris where you can expect to pay more.You could also consider homestay accommodation where you live with a local family. This can be a great option for international students who are looking to study in France in English as it will help to improve your French language skills outside of class. To help support your studies international students are permitted to work up to 20 hours per week.

After graduation

As a hub for international business management, France is a particularly good choice for studying business related subjects. France is home to many of the world’s largest corporations such as Louis Vuitton  and Airbus. Graduating from a French university would be a great starting point - each one having an internship referral system and careers service office so you will always know the most recent opportunities available.
