University pathways
If you are a top student or you have faced challenges during your studies and not received the results you hoped for, there will be university pathway options to ensure you secure your place and gain a degree.
Undergraduate university pathways
If you are looking to study overseas the first step is to see if you meet the entry requirements at the universities of your choice.
- Do not worry if you don’t meet the academic criteria. A foundation year could be the best option
- Or if you don't meet the language requirements you could start early on an English pre-sessional course

Postgraduate application pathways
Before deciding on your postgraduate university pathway options, you need to consider what type of postgraduate degree you are looking to study. There are lots to choose from, including a postgraduate diploma, MSc, MA, MBA, MRes or PhD.
Once you have decided this you need to decide what the best university pathway is for you. For example:
- You can do a pre-masters programme if you have a bachelors degree without honours
- If you are looking to do a PhD there are different application routes
